I’m not saying that Adafruit hasn’t done an outstanding job of providing instructions, but in the interest of simplicity, I will attempt to summarize the software side of things below. The Adafruit website has a set of instructions for building the kit ( ). These are hyperlinked to instructions for setting up the programming environment ( ), which are further hyperlinked ( ) until you finally get to the Arduino website ( ). Here you can actually download the Arduino IDE, which is what you’ll need to compile and download instructions to the goggles. I recently had the pleasure of constructing a set of programmable goggles ( ) which are built around the Adafruit Trinket microcontroller board ( ).
